How many times have you heard the perfect song for your video, knowing you can't use it on YouTube? In 2024, in the middle of an edit, I found an AI tool on Audiio that finds a licensable alternative from a simple link.
LinkMatch
The tool is called LinkMatch and it's built into the Audiio website. You open it and paste a link to any song: from YouTube, Spotify, TikTok, wherever it comes from. The AI listens to it and finds a really good alternative from Audiio's library that you can actually use.
In the video I try it with a very famous track: I copy the share link, paste it, search, and in a matter of seconds I have a list of similar songs. The first suggestion had the same feel, and I loved it.
Why it matters
Searching for music is one of the slowest parts of editing. With this, my music search time was cut in half. I was in the middle of editing another video when I discovered it, and I stopped to make this short one because I hadn't heard anyone talk about the feature.
To be clear: Audiio didn't pay me to make this video. I just found the function and loved it.
