A hundred seconds of our 2017 summer holiday in Corfu, Greece. No talking, just B-roll from my Sony a6500 and a few GoPro hyperlapses made with a very unusual tool: my kitchen timer.
Holiday footage with twins in tow
This is just a short video of our holidays in Corfu, back in the summer of 2017. I didn't have much time to film, because my twins were taking all of it, as twins do. So rather than a vlog, I put together a quick B-roll: the light, the sea and the little moments in between.
The gear
I shot most of it on my Sony a6500 with the 18–105mm lens, and I can honestly say it's the perfect combination for a trip. You get one body and one lens that covers wide shots and close-ups, with nothing to swap on the beach. I also had my GoPro with me for the hyperlapses. My little secret for those was my kitchen timer: a cheap DIY helper that cost me nothing extra. Everything was edited in Final Cut Pro X.
