A very quick YouTube tip from November 2019: how to see what's trending on YouTube in other countries, not just your own.
Why look beyond your own country
YouTube's trending list depends on the location your account is set to. That means you normally only see what's popular where you live. In this short video I show a very fast and easy way to change your location so you can browse what's trending in other countries. It's a fun way to discover new creators and formats, and if you make content for an international audience, it's a useful window into what people elsewhere are watching.
It was part of my series of short YouTube tips, the kind of little hints I picked up while learning the platform.
